Do we stay in the world where bike parts compatibility remains a challenge for all, where hours on end are lost confirming if a particular part will fit the bike in front of you? Or do we take the red pill and dive head first into tackling this problem once and for all and redesign the way that bike parts are purchased entirely?
The Team Behind the Matrix
The founders of Bike Matrix have over 20 years combined mechanical experience and are in touch with the industries needs. They know the pain point of bike parts compatibility, from first hand experience as workshop mechanics, sales staff and customer service roles in e-commerce, they know the problem all too well.
The Problem
With most bikes having at up to 40 components bolted onto them, we have determined that there are over 1000 compatibility combinations that currently exist. It is no wonder each day globally hours are lost to selecting the right component. And just when we think we know what standard are currently out there, and have our head around these, manufacturers then introduce a new "standard"!
The Solution
Bike Matrix is building an extensive bicycle and parts compatibility database. This database will be able to be integrated into ecommerce platforms, POS software, B2B sites, and chatbots, just to name a few! Right now, everyday, the matrix continues to grow and the ways it can be used expand!
